Scholarships Specifically for Undocumented Students

Many of the national, regional, and local scholarships are available to undocumented students as well, but the following scholarships are specifically for undocumented students, and the organizations that fund these scholarships have as part of their mission supporting these students in their pursuit of the American Dream. Please check back often, as new scholarships are added regularly.

Educators 4 Fair Consideration maintain an extensive listing of scholarships available to undocumented students. Be sure to check out their website as well as downloading this list. 
Undergrad Scholarships

Que Llueve Cafe Scholarship -- Not currently open, but will open soon, so check back often. 
To be eligible to apply, you must: 
  • Be an undocumented student
  • Must demonstrate financial need
  • Must demonstrate academic potential and promise
  • Must enroll at a university 
key areas of evaluation: 
  • Your personal story, which takes into account financial need and other compelling challenges the applicant has had to endure;
  • Extra-curricular involvement, which includes anything you do outside of class like community involvement, work, and clubs; and
  • Your academic promise, which is not limited to GPA or test scores but, more importantly, looks at your academic potential for the future.

The Dream U.S. scholarship opens November 15th and  is available to high school seniors or high school graduates with demonstrated financial need who are first-time college students and seek to earn a career-ready associate’s or bachelor’s degree at one of our Partner Colleges.  Scholars are selected from a nationwide pool of applicants.
To be eligible to apply, you must:
  • First time college student
  • 2.5 minimum GPA
  • Must qualify for in-state tuition
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Applied or received the DACA
  • Written essay, and recommendation letters.
