On December 9th, the Calistoga Junior High team went to the Lawrence Hall of Science on the UC Berkeley campus to explore concepts in the STEAM fields. The students explored fluid dynamics, conceptual mathematical thinking, insect adaptations, and complex problem solving in the morning. After a delicious lunch overlooking the beautiful east bay, students went to a lab exploring electricity, squid anatomy, or animal adaptations.
